Online Money Gurus deliberately share fragmented tactics marketed as “secret formulas,” withholding the foundational mindset and long-term strategies necessary for real success. How many times have you paid for a course or some form of online information only to get so far and then trip over the actual execution of what you have been given? 

The reason courses and content do not work is because gurus typically gloss over the most important aspect of transformation, delivering what worked for them without actually speaking about the key ingredient.

Their own personal development. 

When I first started in the online business space I paid 20k, most of my savings, to have a beautiful sales funnel built for me. They built it, and created the ads and everything looked great. However it never generated any sales. 

The reason? I hadn’t yet become the person who could pull a funnel like that off… 

Think about it, if you were given a formula 1 car and told to drive it with no prior experience, you would most likely crash on the first corner if you even managed to start the car. This is also why most people who win the lottery end up losing most of their money after a few short years because they have not become the person worthy of that amount of money, yet. 

This means, anyone selling you the latest tactics and actions without the necessary personal growth needed to become the person who can pull those tactics off, are simply selling you less than half of the solution.  Without the complete picture, you’ll remain dependent, spending years chasing partial solutions and never achieving lasting results. Because success is simple… what happens in our mind is not. 

You are competing with years of social conditioning, limiting beliefs and self doubt that will always limit your ability to fully execute the right tactics and actions.

I know this because I fell victim to it myself. Early in my journey, my constant self-doubt meant I was always seeking external validation, endlessly chasing superficial strategies. The unsettling truth is this: every moment spent doubting yourself directly funds the success of those exploiting your insecurities.

   Notice when you’re tempted to buy another “miracle” solution. Pause and ask yourself: am I acting from insecurity or clarity?

This becomes a recipe for confusion and inaction. As I step into fatherhood, I’m noticing the same confusion in parenting advice. Without a deep understanding of yourself and your values, it’s easy to fall into information paralysis.

The same goes for business. “Money gurus” overwhelm you with endless “free” tips that seem helpful but are designed to keep you trapped in dependency.

My biggest takeaway:

It doesn’t matter what tactics you employ. What matters is how you execute and the clarity of direction you choose to move in.
